KSC Law joined VESPIIA because its mission aligns closely with our work supporting veterans, emergency services personnel, police and their families. The Institute provides a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate and contribute to better outcomes for those who serve and the communities that support them.

KSC Law helps veterans, emergency services personnel, police and their families navigate complex compensation, superannuation, TPD and insurance claims. Our work makes a practical difference by helping veteran clients understand their rights, access entitlements, and secure support when they need it most.

Through this, we contribute to a fairer, more informed and better supported service community.

The sector should focus next on the regulation and professionalisation of advocacy. Veterans, emergency services personnel, police and their families often rely on advocates at vulnerable moments, so it is important that advice and support are delivered with proper training, transparency, accountability and ethical standards.

Stronger regulation would help protect clients, improve consistency across the sector, and build greater trust in the advocacy process while ensuring high-quality advocates are recognised and supported.

A recent achievement KSC Law is proud of is our work with Legal Aid Queensland to help improve access to legal support for people who may otherwise struggle to navigate complex claims on their own. Through this work, we are able to assist vulnerable clients with clear advice, practical guidance and strong representation when they need it most.
