We exist to strengthen the sector through professional standards, advocacy, connection, and recognition — ensuring those who support others are supported themselves.
WHAT IS VESPIIA?
VESPIIA is a professional body, not a network or informal alliance.
We represent the people and organisations working behind the scenes of Australia’s veteran, emergency services, and policing systems — the practitioners, leaders, researchers, and service providers whose work underpins effective support and care.
Our role is to set standards, provide a collective voice, and build capability across the sector so services are ethical, effective, and sustainable.

OUR COMMITMENT
VESPIIA was proudly founded on Wadjuk Noongar land, and we pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of this land, recognising their enduring connection to country, culture, and community. Our mission is to serve and ensure the support of all members across Defence, Fire, Ambulance, and Police services. We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and equity, ensuring that every individual, regardless of their background or identity, has access to the support, recognition, and opportunities they deserve.
