Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) supports ongoing learning and professional standards within VESPIIA. Members are encouraged to maintain relevant professional development aligned with their membership grade.

This page allows members to log CPD activities. VESPIIA does not currently operate an automated tracking system or issue CPD certificates.

CPD activity examples

Formal learning

  • Accredited courses or qualifications
  • Workshops and seminars
  • Webinars and conferences
  • Professional training programs

Professional contribution

  • Presenting at a webinar, workshop, or conference
  • Panel participation
  • Structured research and sector reading
  • Mentoring, supervision, or peer learning (where relevant)

CPD requirements vary by membership grade. Refer to the Members Handbook for the full requirements.

Process

How to log CPD

Step 1

Complete the activity

Undertake the learning activity relevant to your role and practice.

Step 2

Keep evidence

Retain certificates, agendas, attendance confirmations, notes, or links.

Step 3

Submit the log

Use the online form to record the activity and CPD hours.

Record keeping

Your CPD records

Members are responsible for maintaining their own CPD records and supporting documentation. VESPIIA may request evidence of logged activities where required.
