The Cadre of Padres & Madres brings together chaplains and spiritual care practitioners working across defence, emergency services and related sectors. It provides a structured forum for collaboration, shared learning, and strengthening the role of spiritual care in service contexts — operating under a Terms of Reference and reporting into VESPIIA's governance framework.

Chaplains, padres, madres and spiritual care practitioners working in or alongside defence, emergency services, police and corrections.
What it does
Provides a peer forum for collaboration, shared learning and strengthening the practice and recognition of spiritual care in service environments.
How it operates
National participation, primarily virtual. Operates under a Terms of Reference and reports into VESPIIA's governance framework.

Eva leads the Cadre of Padres & Madres working group and serves as a Director on the VESPIIA Board, bringing a chaplaincy and spiritual care focus to the Institute's governance and sector representation.
